    History

    Founded in 1964

    We are located in a beautiful 1876 former hospital and have served as stewards of the property since 1964.  Father Meinecke and local artist Louise Curran saved this magnificent Storey County-owned property from an uncertain future by turning it into an art center.  For six decades we have support arts and culture.
